The Face of Jesus

by on August 19, 2011
A kindergarten teacher told everyone to draw a picture of what was important to them. In the back of the room Johnny began to labor over his drawing. Everyone else finished and handed in their picture but he didn’t. He was still drawing. The teacher graciously walked back and put her arm around Johnny’s shoulder and said, “Johnny, what are you drawing?” He didn’t look up; he just kept on working diligently on his picture. He said, “God”…..”but Johnny” she said gently, “no one knows what God looks like.” He looked up and told her, “they will when I’m through!”

Before Jesus became flesh, the world could only guess what God was like and who He was….but when Jesus showed up, everyone could see in plain sight who God really was….He told the disciples…”he who has seen me has already seen the father…”

Today, we believers are the face of Jesus. We are the hands and feet of Jesus. Who we are, what we say, and what we do….tells the world who God is…..we have a great responsibility to put a face to God…and show the world, “this is what God is like…” Remember, YOU are the only Christ this world can see….

Blessings and Favor all over you today!

Xpect A Miracle,
J Garcia
