The Christian Life

by on September 7, 2011

No one can live the Christian life in his or her own strength.

No matter how good we seem to other, the Bible says that our sins separate us from God. Because He is Holy, He can’t tolerate sinfulness.

In order to be saved, you must agree with God that you have disobeyed Him. (confession) We must accept Jesus’ death on the cross as forgiveness for our sins. Repentance (Metanoya) or turning away from sin is a vital part of our salvation. The moment you are forgiven of your sins (saved or born again) your name is written in the Lambs book of Life and the Holy Spirit of God forever seals you as God’s child!

The Key to living the Christian life is allowing Jesus to live through us!

The moment you are saved, you actually have “died” to your old self and have been given a new life in Jesus.

At the moment of conversion, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us. His primary role is to live the life of Jesus through us.

When we really on him, he helps us think, act, and react just like Jesus would. As we develop and grow in our Christian walk, our ability to let Jesus live through us becomes more a part of our daily life. (Galatians 2:20)

We still experience temptation and battles everyday, but now we know it’s not our responsibility to face those things on our own strength. In His power, we can have joyful, confident, and productive lives!!!

CHRISTIANITY IS CHRIST IN YOU, LIVING HIS LIFE THROUGH YOU, WITHOUT ANY HELP FROM YOU!
